What is Waitress About?
The Musical Waitress is based on the 2007 movie of the same name.
Jenna, a waitress in a diner, feels trapped in her small town and finds herself in an abusive marriage.
An unexpected pregnancy pressures her to make a decision. As she learns about an upcoming baking contest, she realizes that it may be her only chance to leave town and start a new life.
